Be part of the Magic!

Interested in volunteering at The Lights of Christmas this year? What exactly is the difference between an employee and a volunteer? How can I sign up or learn more? Is there someone I can talk to? We have answers to all your volunteer and employment questions!

Volunteer

Volunteering is great for those who want to be part of the magic behind the scenes at the event. You can serve together as a group of friends or family, or as part of a larger group looking to serve the community.

Volunteer positions and information.

Parking/Traffic Control, Overnight Security, Costume Characters, and more! Some positions have age requirements for safety purposes. Service Retreat opportunities are available for groups of 5 to 15 with a 2-night commitment on a first-come first-served basis. For more information click here or call Tori Raiguel, Volunteer Coordinator, at 360.639.8791.

Employment

Paid positions are great for those wanting to make extra money during the holiday season, those that want to share the joy and hope of Christmas with the community while getting paid, those that want job experience for their resume, those that can commit to working throughout the duration of the season (special accommodations will be considered for those that request it upon hiring). Also, great for those wanting to learn the ins-and-outs of working a large nonprofit event.

Part-time event support staff positions are available and pay $16.50 an hour. Shifts run from November through December 30 with 5-40 hours a week depending on staffing needs and employee availability. To learn more or to apply, click here (position are under the part-time drop-down).

Volunteering or working for The Lights of Christmas is a great way to share the Christmas spirit with the community! Be part of a team that cares at The Lights of Christmas, an event of Warm Beach Camp Ministries, a 501(c)3 nonprofit.
