The Lights of Christmas Has a New Format in 2026!

One of the Northwest’s most cherished holiday traditions is about to get even better in 2026! The Lights of Christmas at Warm Beach Camp & Conference Center in Stanwood, WA will once again transform the grounds into a winter wonderland, but this year the event will primarily be experienced by walking around the lavishly decorated 15-acre event space.

Millions of lights along with activities, craft and food vendors, and larger than life displays make this event a must see during the Christmas season. Since 1997 The Lights of Christmas has shared the joy of the Holiday season with the Snohomish County community, drawing over 1.5 million visitors. 2026 marks the 30th year of the event and our staff is hard at work making this season extra special!

New this year, guests can choose between two experiences:

•Walking Format: Most nights of the event, an immersive walk through the festive event.
•Drive-Thru Only Format: 3 event nights, a cozy, 30-minute ride through the lights.

The Lights of Christmas walking format will feature the fan favorite Christmas Market, a new location for Santa’s Village, Penguin Putt Mini-Golf, the Joyland performance stage, the light maze, and all our classics like Bruce-the-Spruce the talking Christmas tree, the larger than life Nativity, Santa, and other costume characters. This new way to enjoy the event will immerse guests in the magic of Christmas letting you enjoy the beauty and fun at your own pace.

The Lights of Christmas isn’t just about celebration, it’s about community. Through it’s The Lights of Christmas for All program, the event partners with churches and nonprofits to provide admission for families who might not otherwise be able to attend. Volunteers also play a vital role in bringing this event to life each year, from set-up to tear-down.

Located at 20800 Marine Drive in Stanwood, WA, Warm Beach Camp is about an hour north of Seattle and south of Bellingham. The event is a program of Warm Beach Camp, a nonprofit ministry dedicated to creating experiences of hope, love, and connection.
