The Lights of Christmas 25th Anniversary Shines Bright

In 2022 The Lights of Christmas celebrated its 25th Anniversary and continued to be a vibrant, shining light in the community during the Christmas season. The Lights of Christmas’ mission has always been to lavishly celebrate the Christmas message in our community and beyond.

During the third year of a drive-thru experience, guests of every age delighted in the sparkling lights, rocked out to the radio station, and chowed down on yummy donuts.

The team created new experiences and displays for the 25th year to help guests connect clearly with the heart of the Christmas message. With these displays layered throughout the event, it was bigger and brighter than ever!

Here are some numbers to show just how big of an impact The Lights of Christmas had in 2022!

•  16,858 Vehicles drove through the event.
• Over 12,000 bags of donuts sold.
• Over $10,000 raised to help kids experience the joy of camp!

Every year, we are blown away by the cheer we see in the faces of attendees. From first timers to families who have visited annually since the first year, the excitement never stops.

“I love how organized the process is. I love the creation used with the designs. The beauty and amazing lights really gets you on the spirit of the season.” said Raynette Elgaen, a guest in 2022.

As I stood at the event’s exit every night, I experienced guests’ gratitude and delight. The Lights of Christmas always sparks joy, and now, after 25 years, continues to shine bright in the community!
