The heart and soul of The Lights of Christmas
Stanwood, Washington is marked by its beautiful scenery, friendly population, and talented local artists. It’s also the home of the largest Christmas festival in the Pacific Northwest, The Lights of Christmas. Last year, the Festival brought together over 78,000 people in celebration of the holidays and the birth of Christ. Previous attendees have said, “We always have a happy, positive experience, and keep coming back,” “the event created special memories,” and “my kids think it’s one of the most magical events ever!”
Community within western Washington where high school bands, choirs, and dance groups perform. Community between the staff and volunteers where people come together to serve each other and make the best possible experience for each attendee. Community with the attendees from all over Puget Sound and varying locations throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and more! Many come back year after year and have adopted the event as family tradition.
Pope John Paul the II once said, “A community needs a soul if it is to become a true home for human beings. You, the people must give it this soul.” The local community, staff, volunteers, and attendees truly are part of the heart and soul of The Lights of Christmas.
We hope that you’ll come and join our community this year at The Lights of Christmas festival.
