Are you looking for a way to serve the community, learn new skills, or learn about the magic behind The Lights of Christmas event? Share the hope and joy of the Christmas season as a volunteer. From the first strand of lights going up to the last strands coming down, volunteers make the event truly spectacular!
Benefits of Volunteering
Make a positive impact in the community! The Lights of Christmas is a great opportunity to share the hope and joy of the Christmas message while making new friends.
Food: That’s right, yummy food! Every night you volunteer a yummy dinner is provided.
Community Service Hours: Need community service hours for school, a scholarship, or work? The Lights of Christmas is a fun way to give back to the community while earning those needed hours.
Groups of 5-15 adults with a 2–4-night commitment qualify for a Service Retreat which includes lodging, breakfast, and dinner.
Who can volunteer?
Individuals: Most positions require individuals to be 16 or older, but some exceptions may be made.
Groups: Whether you are a family that wants to serve together, a community group, or a volunteer group from a local business, we would love to hear from you!
All abilities: Most positions are outside on your feet, but we welcome all applicants. If you have a disability, please reach out to the Volunteer Coordinator, Tori, and she will see if accommodations can be arranged.
