Decorating for the Holidays

It’s that time of year! Time to decorate! While some of the staff at The Lights of Christmas have already decorated their homes for Christmas, many people around the world will start their decorating festivities after Thanksgiving.

Here are some fun ways to spruce up your holiday decorating this year!

1) Check out Pinterest

Pinterest is home to thousands of trendy and classic ways to decorate your home this Christmas. From DIY ornaments, to the latest décor trends, Pinterest is home to a network of decorating professionals ready to inspire your creativity. Did you know that The Lights of Christmas has a Pinterest account? Checkout it out at https://www.pinterest.com/thelightsofchristmasfestival/.

2) Thrift for Classic Décor

There’s nothing like the nostalgia of the holidays! Checking out your local thrift store not only cuts down on environmental waste but also helps support small businesses. And, let’s be honest, sometimes brick-and-mortar popular stores just don’t have the classics that make Christmas feel like it did twenty years ago.

3) DIY

Christmas is the perfect opportunity to get into DIY. There are tons of DIY videos on YouTube that teach you how to make affordable Christmas décor.

4) Go crazy with the ornaments

You can never have enough Christmas ornaments, right? Whether it’s a DIY ornament or a family keep sake, bringing out the Christmas ornaments often brings about fun Christmas memories. Oh, and don’t forget you can purchase The Lights of Christmas ornament when you buy your tickets this year at www.TheLightsofChristmas.com.

We hope you have a very Merry Christmas and hope to see you at The Lights of Christmas presents… A Drive-Thru Christmas this year! Opens November 26, the day after Thanksgiving, and runs select nights through January 8. Advanced purchase required online at www.TheLightsofChristmas.com
