Come volunteer at The Lights of Christmas!

Would you like to do something fun and fulfilling this Christmas season? The Lights of Christmas holiday festival has plenty of opportunities for volunteers. It’s a great way to share the joy of the Christmas season.

If you are interested in helping make The Lights of Christmas happen, there are lots of ways you can pitch in. We need help with Pre-event Set Up, Thanksgiving Working Weekend, Event Volunteer Staff, and Event Take Down.

Pre-event Set Up volunteers help with special projects and setting up displays and scenes outdoors.

Thanksgiving Working Weekend is an “extreme makeover weekend” were the grounds of Warm Beach Camp are transformed into a Christmas wonderland. Over 100 volunteers come together for one final push to get ready for The Lights Christmas. There are many different indoor and outdoor projects including decorating, display installation, sewing, grounds clean up and more.

The Lights of Christmas Event Volunteer Staff make the event possible! Each night, more than 100 volunteers per night power the event. As you can imagine, there is plenty to do on the 19 nights we are open: indoor hosting, parking attendants, pony ride attendants, train attendant, and much more.

After the event, help is needed to take things down and put them away. Take Down this year happens on December 29 and 30. If enough people get involved in this process, everything gets done over a couple of days.

Are you interested in helping with any part of The Lights of Christmas this year? To register or for more information, visit our website at https://www.thelightsofchristmas.com/volunteer or call Jessica Wilson, at either 360-312-3417 or 360-652-7575 ext. 2276.
