“Christmas on the Tumblin’ D” – back by popular demand!
The Christmas season is a time for friends and family to build memories shaped by love, joy, and laughter. What better way to celebrate than to enjoy an evening of Holiday Theatre at The Lights of Christmas!
Set amidst the enchantment of over one million lights, guests enjoy either Dinner Theatre with an exquisite five course meal, or Sunday Dessert Matinee with gourmet dessert and light appetizers. Each option features the delightful performance of Christmas on the Tumblin’ D by Victoria Ritchey. First debuted at The Lights of Christmas 2010, Tumbin’ D won wide acclaim for witty lines, clever plot twists, and hilarious character.
One 2010 attendee said, “The play this year was excellent, funny, poignant, the music was great. Best play ever.”
Christmas on the Tumbin’ D takes us back to the war year of 1941 on a Colorado Ranch where Lucy, a fashionable Boston girl, travels to spend the holidays with her aunt. As a big city, East Coast girl, Lucy is unprepared for the wild twists and turns her “quiet” country holiday takes. Music, humor, romance, and adventure await on the Tumblin’ D.
