Meet this year’s Theatre Director

This year’s Theatre production at The Lights of Christmas is directed by Victoria Ritchey. Ritchey got her start in theatre in sixth grade when she played the title role in, The Giggling Goblin. Later she received formal theatre training from Washington State University and worked for Taproot Theatre Company in Seattle.

The Lights of Christmas welcomed 78,753 total attendees during the 2017 season. Out of all 21 years of this spectacular Christmas festival, this year saw the largest overall attendance.

The Lights of Christmas Festival brings families together

November 30 for 22 select nights through December, The Lights of Christmas Festival welcomes an average of over 68,000 people annually. People from all walks of life enjoy over one million lights in dazzling displays, music, drama, children’s activities, and more. 

Live Theatre amidst ONE Million Christmas lights!

This year’s Live Theatre production at The Lights of Christmas, Back Home on the Tumblin’ D, by Victoria Ritchey, was first performed in 2012 and a favorite of our Theatre attendees. A sequel to last year’s play, it brings back the Tumblin’ D characters with new adventures.
