When I think about Christmas I think about tradition. Sleeping in Christmas morning, eating cinnamon toast, reading the birth story of Christ, enjoying a meal of appetizers the night before, and opening just one gift on Christmas Eve.

This year’s Theatre production at The Lights of Christmas is directed by Victoria Ritchey. Ritchey got her start in theatre in sixth grade when she played the title role in, The Giggling Goblin. Later she received formal theatre training from Washington State University and worked for Taproot Theatre Company in Seattle.
The lights dim slowly as the audience sips on tea and coffee after eating a gourmet meal. The anticipation for the theatre production grows and eyes widen as actors come onto the stage. For many in attendance, Theatre at The Lights of Christmas is a tradition they are eager for every year.
