An inspiring and entertaining classic at Holiday Theatre

The Lights of Christmas presents, It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, opening December 4. This inspiring and entertaining holiday classic comes to life as radio theatre at The Lights of Christmas, with a fresh interpretation that has the audience completely caught up in the tale of despair and redemption. You will be transported back to Bedford Falls as the beloved George Bailey is frustrated by financial crises and setbacks. Through the twist and turns of George’s life, you find yourself agonizing with him while cheering him on. The heartwarming ending showcases the love of family and community that is sure to leave you with the ringing of angels getting their wings echoing in your heart.

Play Director, Victoria Ritchey, states, “This is a beautiful story that gives us all worth and value. With the setting of a radio drama, it becomes a history lesson for some, and a pleasant reminder of childhood for others. All ages will enjoy watching and listening to the sound effects being created.” It is important to Victoria to present stories of value and hope, with a high degree of quality. “Giving the audience a special evening to relax, be pampered with a lovely meal, have a few laughs and take home something to think about, is our goal.

Critics across the country have hailed Joe Landry’s award-winning play adaption of It’s a Wonderful Life. Now, you too can experience this outstanding production in the Baylight Room at The Lights of Christmas. December 4-6, 11-13, 18-20 with Dinner Theatre featuring a five course meal and the play.
