5 Reasons to Come to The Lights of Christmas
If you’re on the fence about making the trip out to The Lights of Christmas this year, or if you just want to learn a little more about your favorite Christmas festival, then you’ve come to the right place. 2) Support a 501(c)3 nonprofit
Did you know that The Lights of Christmas is an event of Warm Beach Camp and Conference Center, a registered 501(c)3 organization? Warm Beach Camp and Conference Center makes an impact in the community through programming and hospitality for groups and people of all ages! Last year, with the help of generous donors, over 1,500 kids with economic hardships were given scholarships so they could experience the joy of camp! 3) Support Local Artisans
Every year The Lights of Christmas stocks gift shops with items from local artisans. It’s one more way to support the local community and come together during the holidays! This year the festival is open on Small Business Saturday, so come out on November 30 and support local businesses!
4) Live Music
If you enjoy live music, The Lights of Christmas is perfect for you! There are various live music performers every night of the festival. Entertainers include; bluegrass & country, acoustic, jazz, community bands, choirs, and carolers. There are also dance groups on some nights. Performances take place over 5 stages spread throughout the festival. If you enjoy live performances, make sure to check the storytellers, and the live Theatre! (The live Theatre is a separately ticketed event, with advanced reservations required.)
5) Food
The festival is populated with various food vendors spread throughout the event. There are many options to choose from and all of them are delicious! You can’t go wrong whether you’re looking for a snack, a meal, or a hot beverage. This year, the festival is welcoming some new vendors and Mrs. Claus’ Bakeshop!
