10 Tips for Getting the Most Out of Your Drive-Thru Experience

Getting ready for your trip to The Light of Christmas this year? Here are ten tips to help you get the most out of your drive-thru experience.

1) Order your ticket in advance online at www.TheLightsofChristmas.com

Tickets are only available online. Select your date and time at purchase and arrive during the hour selected. Tickets range between $25-30 per 1-12 passenger vehicle depending on the day you select.

2) Checkout The Lights of Christmas App

The Lights of Christmas app is filled with great content! It includes video and audio content, Advent activities for the family, and more! The free app also has a Bingo Card to use during the drive-thru.

3) Prepare to enjoy the ride

Bring whatever you and your family will enjoy while viewing the beautiful lights. Maybe a cozy blanket or dress up in your holiday pj’s. Sure, you can crank up the heat in your car but who doesn’t love to be cozy while seeing magical lights?

4) Stop in town before you arrive

Stanwood is home to local boutique shops and restaurants. If you want to grab a bite to eat or do a little Christmas shopping, stop in town before you arrive at the event.

5) Ready and seated before arrival

Make sure you and everyone in your vehicle are in the seat you want to view the lights before you arrive. There is not a parking area or a place for guests to get out and change seats before getting into the event.

6) Have your ticket QR code available

Before you arrive make sure you have your ticket QR code pulled up on your phone or printed out so the customer service team can easily check you in.

7) Turn up the radio

Tune into 101.9 FM when you arrive and listen to fun Christmas music and jokes from Bruce the Spruce the Talking Christmas Tree!

8) Stop for Snacks & Hot Beverages

There is only one snack and beverage area and it’s located at the beginning of the event route. So, don’t pass it by if you want to purchase hot fresh mini donuts, kettle corn, or yummy hot chocolate and coffee from S&T Espresso. Gifts & Souvenirs are available for purchase at the end of the drive-thru route.

9) Need to use a restroom?

There are restrooms at the entrance and exit of the event. The drive-thru event is about 30 minutes.

Note: Pets are permitted in your vehicle at the drive-thru but must always stay in your vehicle. There is no area for pets to relieve themselves on grounds.

10) Get ready to take a family photo

That’s right! This year there is a special photo-op area at the end of the event route where you and your family can park, get out of the car, and snap a picture to commemorate the night. This is a self-service photo opportunity. So put on those matching pajamas and get your camera ready.

We are so excited to see you this year at The Lights of Christmas presents: A Drive-Thru Christmas! Tickets available for purchase at www.thelightsofchristmas.com. Open select nights November 26-January 8.
