🎄 What’s New at The Lights of Christmas 2025: A Brighter, More Magical Experience
There’s something undeniably special about the holiday season in the Pacific Northwest. The Lights of Christmas at Warm Beach Camp in Stanwood, Washington, has long been one of its most enchanting traditions. Each year, families return to experience millions of sparkling lights, enjoy festive treats, and soak in the joy of the season. The 2025 season is no exception and brings some exciting changes — new attractions, redesigned light displays, and even more ways to make Christmas memories.
New Ways to Experience the Magic
This year, The Lights of Christmas offers visitors two different ways to enjoy the event, giving guests the chance to tailor their holiday adventure. Guests can choose between Activity Stop Nights, where you can park and explore the two Activity Stops on foot, giving kids a chance to get their wiggles out, or Drive-Thru Only Nights, perfect for those who prefer to admire the lights from the warmth and comfort of their car.
The new format makes it easier for families to experience the event their preferred way. Whether you’re looking to stretch your legs and sip cocoa while browsing festive attractions, or simply enjoy a cozy drive through the lights, there’s an option that fits every mood and schedule.
Discover the New Attractions
One of the biggest changes this year is the addition of the Christmas Market in Joyland — a cheerful indoor market filled with local artisans, handmade gifts, and delicious seasonal food. The atmosphere is cozy and lively, with the scent of fresh kettle corn and the sound of holiday music adding to the magic.
Another exciting new feature is Penguin Putt in Santa’s Village, a whimsical nine-hole mini-golf course that’s perfect for kids and adults alike. It’s a fun, interactive way to play your way through the holiday spirit. And if you loved the Light Maze in previous years, you’ll find it in a new location within Santa’s Village, now easier to access and even more photogenic.
Of course, fan favorites like Bruce the Spruce, the talking Christmas tree, and Frosty the Snowman are back and ready to greet guests in Joyland. These beloved characters bring plenty of laughter and make for great photo ops with little ones.
New Light Displays and Old Favorites
The heart of the event — the light displays — shine brighter than ever. Organizers have refreshed and rearranged many of the scenes, blending new designs with classic favorites. Guests can experience glowing tunnels, watch lighted waterfalls cascade down Icicle Falls, and admire the peaceful Nativity scene or the whimsical Gingerbread Lane featuring Sprinkles the Donut. Every turn offers a new opportunity to enjoy the wonder and magic of the season.
Festive Food, Shopping, and Santa
No holiday outing is complete without a treat or two, and The Lights of Christmas doesn’t disappoint. Visitors can enjoy fresh mini donuts, hot cocoa, and an expanded selection of food vendors at the Christmas Market. There are also plenty of souvenirs and holiday gifts, from light-up toys to cozy sweatshirts.
For families with little believers, Santa’s Mailbox is open and ready to receive letters to the North Pole. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for professional or candid photos on Activity Stop Nights, while Rudolph, Frosty, and other costumed friends make appearances throughout the event.
